ABOUT THE FAIR

The Alimentec in Bogota is considered one of the most important trade fairs for the food industry in Colombia and all of Latin America. It provides an ideal platform for networking with industry peers and establishing valuable business contacts. This fair is held every two years in even-numbered years and is organized by Corferias in collaboration with Koelnmesse. The thematic range of Alimentec covers all major areas of the food industry: gourmet foods, chilled and frozen products, meat, poultry, fish, seafood, dairy products and eggs, baked goods, beverages, as well as fruits, vegetables, and organic foods. Confectionery, snacks, and sweets are also well represented. A highlight of the fair is the opportunity to network with international experts from the fields of food and beverages, agriculture, packaging, technology, and related services. The event takes place at the International Exhibition Center Corferias, one of the most modern exhibition grounds in Bogota. The top-notch infrastructure and modern facilities make Corferias the ideal meeting point for exhibitors and visitors from around the world. Due to its high level of internationality and the wide range of products and services offered, Alimentec is an indispensable event for professionals in the food industry and for anyone interested in the latest trends and technologies. The next edition of the fair promises to be an outstanding event once again, meeting all expectations. On the whole the organisers welcomed on the 4 days of the fair, from 07. June to 10. June 2022, about 325 exhibitors and 25628 visitors on the Alimentec in Bogota. The Alimentec takes place biennially, and therefore for the thirteenth time previsibly in June 2028 in Bogota.
