ABOUT THE FAIR
AERO Asia is the leading trade show for general aviation in the Asia-Pacific region and offers a specialized platform for innovation, networking, and knowledge exchange. It is regarded as the Asian counterpart to the renowned European AERO, which has its origins in Friedrichshafen, Germany. Every two years, the Zhuhai International Airshow Center in the rapidly developing metropolis of Zhuhai opens its doors to industry professionals from around the world. AERO Asia is organized by Messe Frankfurt (HK) Ltd in cooperation with Zhuhai Airshow Group Co. Ltd – a partnership that combines international standards, dynamic Asian markets, and an outstanding network.
The exhibition showcases the entire spectrum of general aviation: from piston aircraft and turboprops to business jets, helicopters, gyrocopters, and ultralight aircraft, as well as the latest advancements in e-flight, avionics, cabin equipment, and sustainable propulsion technologies. In addition to aircraft, visitors and exhibitors will find comprehensive solutions and services related to maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), supply and components, flight schools, flight simulation, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), as well as airport construction and infrastructure. As such, AERO Asia is targeted at manufacturers, suppliers, operators, maintenance providers, flight schools, service companies, investors, and decision-makers, as well as pilots and aviation enthusiasts.
A distinguishing feature of AERO Asia is its range of expert seminars on the economics of low-altitude aviation, symposia on safety and sustainability, conferences on engine development, and forums focused on talent promotion and investment opportunities. Demonstration flights provide hands-on insights into innovative technologies. The event also places strong emphasis on fostering exchange between international experts, start-ups, and young professionals.
Exhibitors represent all areas of the aviation industry, including aircraft manufacturers, engine producers, avionics and component suppliers, as well as specialized service providers and aviation infrastructure companies. The main audience consists of industry professionals, buyers, developers, operators, and decision-makers from civil aviation, as well as pilots, student pilots, and representatives from authorities and investment firms.
